Where growth begins.
First AppointmentMaking a start.
We will spend time getting to know you, what has brought you here, what feels most pressing, and what you’re hoping might change.
We may ask some questions about your history, current supports, and goals so we can understand the bigger picture.
There is no pressure to share everything at once. We move at a pace that feels safe and comfortable.
FamiliesWorking together.
For those seeking perinatal support, we explore how you’re feeling during pregnancy or early parenthood and how to strengthen confidence and connection as you adjust to these changes.
For children, the first session will often be a parent-only appointment. For adolescents, sessions will often include time with parents or caregivers so we can understand your child’s needs and strengths.
Ongoing SessionsTowards your goals.
This may involve developing practical strategies, building insight, and understanding patterns that may be contributing to current difficulties.
Sessions may vary in focus. Some are reflective and exploratory, while others are more structured and skills-based.
How therapy progresses.
Therapy is a collaborative process guided by clear goals and regular review.
Every few sessions, we pause to reflect on progress and make adjustments as needed.
We value open feedback and encourage you to share your experience so we can remain responsive and aligned with your needs.
For clients accessing support under a Mental Health Care Plan, communication with your GP is required in line with Medicare guidelines.
With consent, we may also liaise with schools or other professionals to support coordinated care.
